FACES / PRINTS

FACES

Collection of portraits of family members, colleagues, friends, strangers and myself with covered or hidden faces - a performative practice well known in performance art making. This collection is not yet a project but a toehold and practical instruction (Handlungsanweisung) for the creative tourist. Maybe to always have a white tissue at hand would be best. In progress.

PRINTS

Excerpt of a series of original 7,5x5 cm prints on thermal autochromium paper - layering of up to four mobile phone snapshots taken in my immediate living environment combining images of friends and birds with random pages from a dictionary. In progress.

DIARY 2016

One picture every day, no more no less. Pictures are taken with a relatively cheap smart phone, the imprint ( the week day plus the exact date and time when the picture was actually taken) are generated automatically. No fake, no titles, hardly much thinking. This is about continuous visual documentation, lazyness/reduction and privacy. Rules can of course be streched.
